About the quokka

Quokkas are small marsupials found almost entirely on Rottnest Island (Wadjemup) off the coast of Western Australia. Their upturned mouths make them look permanently cheerful, but that is the shape of the jaw, not a mood – and they are a protected species: it is illegal to touch or feed them. Every Quokka Planet design is made to celebrate the animal, never to make a joke of it.
